ServicesUS business address

A US business address for your LLC, with letters in your vault.

LaunchUS Business Address gives your LLC a US street address with its own suite number; letters that arrive are opened, scanned and added to your document vault. LaunchUS Virtual Office adds a virtual office lease agreement. Both are yearly services for letters only: no parcels and no mail forwarding, and neither is the registered agent address.

What is the difference between a registered agent address and a business address?

The registered agent address receives service of process and state notices. A business address is the one your company uses with clients, platforms and on its own documents.

The state requires the first (what is a registered agent?); the second is optional and is what this page sells. The registered agent address vs business address post compares them line by line, and the LaunchUS Registered Agent page covers the agent side.

Business Address or Virtual Office: which one do I need?

Business Address if you need a street address with scanned letters; Virtual Office if you will apply for a bank account, because it adds a virtual office lease agreement.

Can I use this address for a bank or Stripe application?

LaunchUS Virtual Office is the kind of business address banks and payment providers generally accept for a business account; acceptance is each institution's own decision.

Stripe’s US requirements ask for the address of the physical location where most of the business activity is carried out and do not accept PO boxes (Stripe support); read them before you apply. Our Stripe documents checklist and the post on a US bank account for a non-resident LLC list what each side asks for.

Does the IRS accept a virtual address?

The IRS sends letters to the mailing address the company gives it, and a change of business mailing address or location is reported on Form 8822-B.

The address on the EIN application is where IRS letters go, including the EIN confirmation (IRS: About Form 8822-B). See the EIN service for how the application is prepared.

What mail is scanned, and what cannot be received?

Returns from marketplace and online-store sales and supplier shipments cannot be received at this address; letters only. No parcels or packages, and no mail forwarding.

Service of process and state notices never count toward the yearly allowance; IRS correspondence (including the EIN confirmation letter) and annual-report reminders do.

Letters beyond the yearly allowance are still scanned and uploaded but stay locked; you open the ones you want for $9 a letter.

How do I add an address to my order or to an existing company?

In a new formation order, choose it in the address step; activation typically takes 2–10 business days after the state approves the company.

Activation needs the approved company documents and a postal mail authorisation (USPS Form 1583), so it follows formation. The range is a LaunchUS estimate from the same configuration your dashboard uses, not a commitment.
