This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is used when you use the launchus.app website and the LaunchUS customer portal. The detailed categories of personal data processed during onboarding, the legal bases and your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 are set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK); this Policy complements it and does not replace it.
1. Who is responsible
The website and the portal are operated by SYNCHSEA LLC, a limited liability company formed in the US state of Wyoming, which provides the service under the LaunchUS brand. For privacy questions: hello@launchus.app.
2. Information we collect on the website
- Early-access list form: the e-mail address and the other details requested in the form are used to send you information about early access and the process. The submission is recorded with a separate checkbox; you can leave the list through the link in every e-mail or by writing to us.
- Contact: when you write to hello@launchus.app, your e-mail address and message are kept so that we can reply.
- Live support chat: the live support window on the contact page and in the portal loads only when you open it. The messages you type, the files you attach and, if you give them, your name and e-mail address are kept in support software running on our own server so that we can reply. The window keeps an identifier in your browser so that your conversation can continue (see the Cookie Policy).
- Bot protection: on the waitlist, registration and sign-in forms, the bot-protection tool of our content-delivery and security network runs to prevent automated misuse; it assesses browser and device signals and loads when a page with these forms opens.
- Technical logs: our servers and the content-delivery and security network in front of them keep standard access logs (IP address, browser information, request time, requested page) for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies and similar records: simply viewing a public page writes no LaunchUS cookie; when you save your cookie preferences or choose a language, first-party records that remember those choices are written. The bot protection on forms and, when you open it, the live support window may use the security and conversation records described in the Cookie Policy. Session cookies come into play when you sign in to the portal. The full list of cookies and records is in the Cookie Policy.
3. Information we collect in the portal
- Account data: name, e-mail address, an irreversible digest of your password, account role and session records.
- Onboarding answers and documents: the information you provide for company formation, the Registered Agent service and the EIN application, and the documents in your vault. Details are in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).
- Identity verification: you scan your passport in Stripe's identity verification step; no selfie is requested and no biometric matching takes place. The document image is not downloaded to LaunchUS; we keep the verification result and the details read from the document. Details are in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).
- Payment transaction data: the payment provider's transaction id, amount, status and, if you used one, the promotion code. Your card details are entered on Stripe's forms; LaunchUS does not see or store your card number.
- Consent and acceptance records: the version of each legal text you accepted, the time, the name you typed and the IP address and browser information at that moment. These records are kept in your account, not in cookies.
- Audit logs: records of who did what and when in your account and case.
4. Analytics and session replay
We measure, in aggregate, how the website and the portal are used with a statistics tool that runs on our own server. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address in readable form, does not follow you across other websites, does not collect form contents and has no advertising purpose; the data is not shared with third parties. Because of these limits it runs without consent, on the basis of our legitimate interest; if "Do Not Track" is switched on in your browser, no measurement takes place, and you can object by writing to us. Analytics features that would use cookies or similar records in your browser run only with the Analytics Cookie Consent (in the cookie preferences or in the portal); none is active today. Session replay is disabled today and can be enabled only with a separate consent. You can withdraw both consents in the portal under Settings → My privacy choices, and the analytics consent also through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. No third-party advertising cookies are used on the website or in the portal; your data is not shared with advertising networks and is not sold.
5. Newsletter and commercial electronic messages
Newsletters and campaign announcements are commercial electronic messages and are sent only if you tick the checkbox provided separately for that purpose; not giving this approval does not affect your use of the service. Your approval is recorded in the Commercial Message Management System (İYS) as the law requires. You can withdraw it at any time and free of charge through the "unsubscribe" link in every message, through İYS or by writing to hello@launchus.app; your withdrawal is processed within three business days at the latest. Order, notice and account-security messages are not commercial messages; withdrawing your approval does not stop them.
6. Who we share information with
Your information is shared only to the extent needed to provide the service and only with recipients in these categories: our US-based formation and registered-agent service provider, hosting and storage providers (including the content-delivery and security network that provides bot protection), the payment and identity verification service provider (Stripe), the e-mail delivery provider, the Commercial Message Management System if you have approved commercial messages, legal advisers and auditors where needed, and the public authorities your application is made to (the state and the IRS). Analytics and live support run on our own servers. Most recipients are in the United States; the details and the legal basis are explained in the International Data Transfer Notice.
7. Security measures
- All traffic between the website, the portal and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Your documents are kept in a private storage area and can be downloaded only through time-limited, signed links.
- Portal access is role-based; each account sees only its own company's information. Critical operations on the administration side require approval by two people.
- Actions in your account and case are kept in audit logs.
- Your password is not stored in plain text.
No system is completely secure. If your personal data is obtained by others unlawfully, we notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board as soon as possible under KVKK Article 12/5.
8. Children
The website and the portal are not directed at persons under 18; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware of such a case, we delete the information.
9. Links to third-party sites
The website may link to state authorities, the IRS and other resources. The payment and identity verification steps run on Stripe's own pages. The privacy practices of those sites are subject to their own policies; LaunchUS is not responsible for them.
10. Retention
Your information is kept for as long as the purpose of collection requires and for the periods the applicable law sets; the periods per category are stated in the Privacy Notice (KVKK). Server and access logs of the website and the portal are kept for 90 days; if a security incident has to be investigated, this period may be extended until the investigation is complete.
11. Changes
This Policy carries a version number and an effective date. On a material change a new version is published and announced in the portal with a "what changed" line; you are asked to accept the new version before a payment or a new Registered Agent order.
12. Contact
For privacy questions and requests: hello@launchus.app. How to exercise your rights under KVKK Article 11, and your right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Board, are explained in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).
