Which service when? Choosing services by goal

At LaunchUS the services make sense together, by goal, rather than one by one: company formation, EIN application preparation, the LaunchUS Registered Agent address, a US business address and mail scanning. The matrix below shows which services cover four common goals; the decision is yours. It is process transparency, not legal, financial or tax advice.

Goal → service matrix

Rows are the goals founders name most often; the middle column lists the services ordered together. Approval always depends on the assessment of the institution concerned (payment provider, marketplace, bank).

Service scope varies by package; the current scope and amounts are on the pricing page and the quote screen.
Your goalServices ordered togetherWhat to know
Applying for a Stripe or PayPal account with a US companyCompany formation + EIN application preparation + US business addressPayment providers usually ask for the formation document, the EIN and a US address. The Registered Agent address is for official notices; a separate business address is used for the application. You apply, the provider decides.
Selling on Amazon, Etsy or a similar marketplace with a US companyCompany formation + EIN application preparation + US business address + mail scanningMarketplaces may send verification letters and official notices by post; scanned mail lands in your vault. Seller account approval depends on the marketplace’s assessment.
Freelancing for clients abroad and invoicing themStarter package: company formation, first-year Registered Agent address, EIN application preparation, document vaultA simple start with a single founder. Mail scanning and the bank application readiness pack can be added later if needed.
Running an agency or consultancy with US clientsPro package + invoice tool: on top of the Starter scope, the readiness pack for payment-infrastructure and bank applications, Priority preparation (Rush) and the customer invoice generatorPackage scope and the invoice tool are described on the pricing page. Bank or payment-provider approval is given by that institution.

Reading the matrix

  1. 1

The state is a separate decision

The matrix says which services you order together, not in which state you form. The Wyoming and Delaware guides and the comparison page give the decision framework; the decision is yours.

  2. 2

    Packages: Starter and Pro

The services are grouped into two packages. Scope and amounts are on the pricing page and the quote screen; the state fee is shown separately from the LaunchUS service fee and may change.

  3. 3

The institution concerned gives the approval

The state approves the formation. We obtain your EIN; the IRS issues the number. A payment provider, marketplace or bank makes its own decision. LaunchUS prepares you for the application, collects the documents in your vault and shows who acts next in the portal.

What we do not do

  • We do not give legal, tax or accounting advice.
  • We do not file with the state ourselves; the filing goes through the LaunchUS Registered Agent service, we prepare and track.
  • We do not issue the EIN; the IRS issues the number, we prepare and track the application. Approval and timing are not guaranteed.
  • We do not open bank, payment-provider or marketplace accounts, and we do not guarantee their approval.
  • State/government fees are not included in our service fee; they are shown separately and may change.
